Abstract
The notion of mediated talk in which players communicate through a med
iator before starting the game is introduced. It is shown that a deter
ministic mechanized mediator receiving private inputs and producing pu
blic outputs can generate any rational correlated equilibrium with rat
ional probabilities by a self-enforcing procedure.
