Lg. Rothschild et al., NO ASSOCIATION DETECTED BETWEEN A D-3 RECEPTOR GENE-EXPRESSED VARIANTAND SCHIZOPHRENIA, American journal of medical genetics, 67(2), 1996, pp. 232-234
A missense polymorphism (glycine to serine) in the first exon of the d
opamine D-3 (DRDS) gene was examined in a sib-pairs schizophrenia coll
ection by the transmission test for linkage disequilibrium (TDT). No a
ssociation due to linkage disequilibrium was detected using TDT. Addit
ionally, no evidence for excess homozygosity was found. (C) 1996 Wiley
