Abstract
All the species of aquatic and semiaquatic dryopoid Coleoptera known t o occur in California are listed. Genera with identification problems and undescribed species are indicated. Factors that might influence th e collection of species, such as ecological preferences and/or annual occurrences of certain life stages, are cited.
