Abstract
This report deals with a rare case of malignant fibrous histiocytoma i n the left kidney of a 69-year-old male patient. Up to now, 21 cases o f this tumour have been described in the worldwide literature. As comp uterized axial tomography shows cystic and solid structures, benign cy sts and renal cell carcinoma must be ruled out. The therapy of choice consists of nephrectomy.
