Abstract
We observed an interstitial deletion of the long arm of chromosome 6 o ccurring as the sole anomaly in a benign fibrocystic disease of the br east, confirming its nonrandom occurrence in this type of condition, a nd we discuss the possible meaning of this observation. (C) 1996 Wiley -Liss, Inc.
