Abstract
Induced invariant forms and the multiplicity labeling problem are inve stigated for typical summands of the tensor product of an arbitrary fi nite dimensional irreducible representation and a typical one, for the type I quantum superalgebras. The results are applied to obtain a gen eral eigenvalue formula for Casimir invariants, corresponding to an ar bitrary finite dimensional irreducible reference representation.
