Abstract
In the paper disintegration of comets in the Solar System was investig ated. Various mechanisms as impacts with the Sun, collisions with plan ets and asteroids, sublimation of a cometary nucleus were considered. Calculations were done for large range of cometary parameters and it w as shown that sublimation of a cometary nucleus played the main role i n the considered phenomena.
