Abstract
A detailed study of the infrared spectra of crystalline hydrates and a quo-complexes were performed to characterize the water molecules inter action in the crystal lattice. Water molecules form a special arrangem ents in the unit cell, that causes characteristic changes of delta(HOH ) band parameters in the range 1500-1800 cm(-1). Basing on the spectra of solid hydrates with known crystal structure, criteria of estimatio n of these interactions have been presented.
