R. Moog et al., COMMON MESENTERY VESSELS - CLINICAL AND T HERAPEUTIC ASPECTS IN CHILDREN - A REPORT OF 58 CASES, Journal de chirurgie, 133(2), 1996, pp. 72-77
Fifty-eight children with isolated malrotation of the midgut were trea
ted in our service between 1970 and 1993. They presented with acute bi
lious vomiting in 75% of cases. The remaining 25% consulted for variou
s digestive symptoms. Diagnoses were established by an upper gastroint
estinal radiographic study. Prognoses were good whenever an emergency
operation was preformed.
