Abstract
Fifty-eight children with isolated malrotation of the midgut were trea ted in our service between 1970 and 1993. They presented with acute bi lious vomiting in 75% of cases. The remaining 25% consulted for variou s digestive symptoms. Diagnoses were established by an upper gastroint estinal radiographic study. Prognoses were good whenever an emergency operation was preformed.
