Abstract
Universal power laws typical for the on-off intermittency are observed experimentally in an electronic circuit of two bidirectionally couple d autonomous chaotic oscillators. It is shown that an exponential fall off in the distribution of the laminar phases appears due to a small m ismatch of the nearly identical oscillators. The dispersion of the loc al transverse Lyapunov exponents is estimated from the exponential fal loff.
