Abstract
Mean-field theory of quantum hadrodynamics is used to study the Coulom b instability of asymmetric nuclear matter at finite temperature. The critical temperature for the liquid-gas phase transition in nuclear ma tter and its dependence on an asymmetry parameter are calculated. The limiting temperature T(lim), which reflects the Coulomb instability of hot nuclei is studied.
