Abstract
N-Acetylcysteine inhibited hyphal growth and germination of conidia of Aspergillus spp. and Fusarium spp. N-Acetylcysteine inhibited conidia l germination as well as or better than L-cysteine. Cysteine-related c ompounds may provide a potential therapeutic strategy against agricult urally and medically important fungal pathogens.
