The variable-temperature magnetic behaviour of the previously reported
AsF6- and presently reported Sb2F11-salts of bis(1,2,3,4-trithiazoliu
m), (SSSNCCNSSS+.)-S-.+ (1(2+)), are complex but indicate intermolecul
ar antiferromagnetic interactions and temperature-independent paramagn
etism, as well as intramolecular antiferromagnetic coupling leading to
a singlet ground state, with a nearly degenerate thermally accessible
triplet excited state, which is confirmed by EPR spectroscopy.
