Abstract
Treatment of lithium 2-meistyl-, adamantyl-, and tert-butyl-1,1-bis(tr imethylsilyl)-1-silen-2-olate with 0.5 equiv of palladium dichloride a fforded the corresponding coupling products, 1,2-bis(acyl)tetrakis(tri methylsilyl)disilanes (3a-c), in high yields. The molecular structure of compound 3b was established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction stu dy.
