The aluminum salt (O2CH3P=O)(3)Al-2 was Prepared (86% yield) by electr
olysis of 2.3 M aqueous solution of methylphosphonic acid with the use
of art aluminum anode; the yield of the aluminum salt of chloroethylp
hosphonic acid obtained in analogous conditions was 83%. A change in t
he temperature from 20 to 60 degrees C does not influence the product
yield.
