N-(Difluoroamino)azoles - a new class of N-substituted azoles - have b een synthesized by reacting NH-azoles, whose NH-acidity is pK(a) < 5, with O-fluorosulfonyl-N,N-difluorohydroxylamine in the presence of bas es.
