We present a kinematical study of the bipolar planetary nebula (PN) He
2-36. A cylindrical model has been fitted to the observed morphology
and velocity field. From it, deprojected expansion velocities from 45
to 80 km s-1 and an inclination of 60-degrees to the line of sight wer
e derived for the nebula. He 2-36, containing an A type star, is one o
f the PNe suspected to have a binary system as central source. We prop
ose that its non spherical structure is due to collimation effects in
the binary system.
