Abstract
A case of transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder in a pati ent infected with the human immunodeficiency virus is reported. The tu mour was very large, occupying most of the bladder, however cystoscopi c removal of the tumour was successful with no recurrence after one ye ar. This association has never reported before. The possible contribut ion of human immunodeficiency virus infection to its occurrence is dis cussed.
