Mf. Herrera et al., BACILLUS-CEREUS VAR FLUORESCENS INOCULATI ON OF PASTURES IN THE HYDROMORPHIC SOILS OF THE SIERRA DE GUADARRAMA, Agrochimica, 40(1), 1996, pp. 9-18
In the experiment we studied a ''hydromorfic soil'' (pH=5.5), with 4%
of organic matter, from ranch in the Guadarrama mountain area (Madrid,
Spain). Our aim was to improve the pasture by means of phosphobacteri
um (B. cereus fluorencens) inoculation. Firstly some corrections to th
e soil were carried out (pH, o.m., N/K and P). The clear conclusion ob
tained was that this soil has no need of phosphoric fertilizer if phos
phobacterium are inoculated since the result is an increase in pasture
fresh weight and in the nutrition element levels.
