Abstract
Appeared phases of the (La . AM)O . nFe(2)O(3) ferrites (AM=Na, K, Rb) where n value varied between 4 to 6 were investigated. The almost sin gle phase of La-AM ferrites with magnetoplumbite structure was prepare d in nominal compositions of (La0.5Na0.5)O . 4Fe(2)O(3) and (La0.7K0.3 )O . 5Fe(2)O(3). The crystal structure and magnetic properties of thes e ferrites were studied. The Rietveld profile analysis of XRD data ind icates that the structural parameters of these ferrites are refined to weighted pattern R factor R(wp) Of about 6%. The magnetization of the se ferrites is about 70 similar to 80 mu Wb . m . kg(-1) at room tempe rature at the applied field of 1200kA . m(-1), their Curie temperature is about 710 similar to 730K, and their anisotropy field is about 110 0kA . m(-1).
