Abstract
The usual method of searching for the effect of gluinos in four-jet ev ents from hadronic decays of the Z(0) at LEP uses a comparison between theoretical and experimental angular correlations of the four jets. T he sensitivity of this method can be substantially improved by extendi ng it to include a comparison of jet-masses, assuming the masses of th e jets containing the new particles are larger than those of ordinary quarks.
