Abstract
The paper deals with the metrological characterization of a smart wire less device for the measurement of thrust, speed and mechanical power on linear induction motors (LIM's), The measuring equipment is describ ed presenting the solutions adopted for the realizations of the protot ype, The metrological characterization tests have shown good accuracy and high response time for both thrust and speed measurement, The pape r is completed with experimental results obtained by applying the meas uring device on an actual motor.
