comes most of the problems encountered with the classical three- or fo
ur-parameter sine-wave fitting procedure described in IEEE Standard 10
57. The stochastic properties of the new procedure are thoroughly anal
yzed, Its performance is illustrated by simulations and measurements w
ith a high-frequency sampling scope.
