Abstract
Noise reduction in existing detector systems at synchrotron radiation facilities car. be accomplished by utilizing the pulsed structure of t he synchrotron radiation. We present the working principle of this tec hnique and explain its feasibility for use with common X-ray detectors that provide single photon counting.
