Ia. Chaban et al., THE CONCENTRATIONAL INTERVAL OF WATER H-B OND NETWORK DESTRUCTION IN AQUEOUS-SOLUTIONS OF NONELECTROLYTES, Biofizika, 41(2), 1996, pp. 293-298
The concentrational interval of water H-bond network destruction was f
ound; the interpretation of the second maximum of light scattering coe
fficient in aqueous solutions of nonelectrolytes was done; noncoincide
nce of concentration which correspond to the anomalous maximum of ligh
t scattering and peculiarities of series of physicochemical properties
of aqueous solutions of nonelectrolytes in the range 0-10 mol.% of no
nelectrolyte was explained. The system water-tetramethylurea is examin
ed detaily. The literature data on the diluted solutions of tetramethy
lurea are completed by measuring of light scattering coefficient in th
is system. Interpretation of the experimental data was provided on the
basis of percolation theory and developed previously by the authors i
dea of unattainable critical point of solution, which exists in the lo
w-concentrated aqueous solutions of nonelectrolytes.
