The intermediates of the direct photoconversion P-r --> P-fr of the oa
t phytochrome in vitro have been studied by the time-resolved absorpti
on spectroscopy at 5 degrees C. The spectrum analysis have been perfor
med and the three group of the intermediates were identified during th
e phototransformation: I-700(i), I-bl, I-lt. It has been shown that I-
lt is a sum of at least three different intermediates. The comparison
of given scheme with those for direct photoconversion proposed earlier
has been carried out. The primary products of the back photoconversio
n P-fr --> P-r have been investigated. The spectral properties of the
lumi-F and meta-F intermediates have been described.
