BINDING OF COMPETITIVE INHIBITORS TO CHYM OTRYPSIN AND TRYPSIN IN DEPENDENCE ON SOLUTION PH AND IONIC-STRENGTH

The dependence of the binding of cation dyes brilliant green and profl avine with chymotrypsin and trypsin on pH and ionic strength was studi ed. It was shown that the binding and spectral properties of the dye i n the enzyme-inhibitor complex depend substantially on the electrostat ic interactions of the dye and the active center charges. The conditio ns were found of which the enzyme-dye complex exists in a single form.
