Abstract
The anatomy of the viscera of thoracic and abdominal cavities has been studied on 19 cynomolgus monkeys (Macaca fascicularis). It becomes ap parent after this study that the cynomolgus anatomy presents commons c haracters either with human anatomy, or with the anatomy of domestics mammals. These characteristics give the cynomolgus a quite original po sition between a strict biped like Man, and Quadrupeds.
