Abstract
The thermal degradation of poly(allyl methacrylate) has been investiga ted using thermal volatilisation analysis (TVA), thermogravimetric ana lysis (TGA) and differential thermal analysis (DTA). The main pyrolysi s products have been identified and the characteristics of the reactio ns deduced and discussed. Mechanisms have been proposed to account for the products formed.
