Abstract
The localized solutions for the 2 + 1-dimensioinal integrable generali zation of the sine-Gordon equation-I (2DISG-I) are studied. A general formula for the exact solutions for the 2DISG-I equation with non-triv ial time-dependent boundaries is derived. The broad classes of exact s olutions of the perturbed string and telegraph equations are obtained via the partial derivativeBAR-dressing method. Exact localized solutio ns of several types Of 2DISG-I equation are calculated using exact sol utions of perturbed string and telegraph equations.
