Abstract
The proton NMR spectrum of a sample of phenyl benzoate dissolved in th e nematic liquid crystalline solvent ZLI 1132 has been analysed to yie ld a set of dipolar couplings. These have been used to obtain the prob ability distribution for the conformations generated by rotations thro ugh the angles phi(1), phi(2) and phi(3) [GRAPHICS]
