Abstract
The recently reported and hitherto poorly understood resistance anomal ies at the superconducting transition of quasi-one-dimensional mesosco pic Al structures can be induced by radio-frequency radiation. We show that these anomalies are correlated with changes in the voltage-curre nt characteristics which are created in the presence of the radiation below the superconducting transition. The anomalies appear to be close ly related to the creation of localized phase-slip centers by the radi o-frequency radiation.
