Abstract
A EGO crystal (Bi4Ge3O12) as the E detector of Delta E-E for identific ation of reaction products has been used for detecting the charged par ticles emitting from the 25 MeV/u Ar-40 induced reaction. The response s of the EGO crystal to various light charged particles were measured. A close-packed hexagonal array consisting of thirteen Delta E-E teles copes (Si-BGO) has been developed to detect the light charged particle s interfering with each other in intermediate-energy heavy-ion induced reactions. Some applications of this telescope array are also describ ed.
