Abstract
This paper establishes two mathematical models for dissolution of a ro tating disk following by a fast irreversible first pseudo-order reacti on; the models contain dimensionless variables and parameters. These m odels are used to determine the solute concentration distribution insi de the diffusion film. The influence of the Hatta number over the solu te concentration profile in the diffusion film is also studied.
