Abstract
In the paper a mathematical model for the dissolution of solids accomp anied by a slow irreversible chemical reaction of second order is pres ented. By means of this model it was established the variation of the transformation degree of the solute inside the diffusional film as wel l as the influence of some parameters on the transformation degree of the solute.
