In clinical research the efficiency of low-energy laser (LEL) therapy
remains controversial. We present here some of the most important resu
lts of our clinical experience in this field. We summarize our opinion
s about the LEL effects in rheumatic diseases, in chronic pelvic infla
mmatory disorders, in the treatment of some dermatological disorders,
and in the recovery of the distal forearm nerve from traumatic lesion
after surgical suture. We conclude that these results may be important
evidence for the real clinical efficiency of the LEL. (C) 1996 Societ
