Abstract
Euphorbia dulcis endosperm is the site of controlled long lasting endo cellular lysis involving segregation and autophagy of portions of the cytoplasm within the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. The lysis product s may constitute a food source for the benefit of the early developing embryo.
