Abstract
Thermal properties of poly(azomethine ether)s synthesized on the basis of triarylmethane diamines were studied. It was found that poly(azome thine ether)s undergo postcondensation during the thermal treatment. T he molecular mass of polymers increases, and they are still soluble in organic solvents. The temperatures of the onset of degradation of som e polymers in air lie in the range between 350 and 380 degrees C.
