Limiting activity coefficients are of both theoretical and practical i
nterest. They provide direct information about unlike pair interaction
s in solution, without the need to use empirical g(E) models for conce
ntration dependence. They also characterize a variety of important sep
aration processes involving dilute solutions, especially in the enviro
nmental arena. New experimental and predictive methods are available f
or measurement, correlation, and estimation of gamma(infinity) data.
