CONGENITAL BILATERAL ABSENCE OF THE VAS-DEFERENS AND CRYPTORCHIDISM WITHOUT CYSTIC-FIBROSIS

We report on a child with congenital bilateral absence of the vas defe rens discovered during bilateral orchiopexy. Bilateral absence of the vas deferens was not associated with cystic fibrosis or other genitour inary anomalies. No cystic fibrosis genotypic mutations, karyotypic ch anges or renal abnormalities were found.
