The pyrolysates of three oximes (XCH(2)C(CH3)=NOH, X = H, CH3, Cl) hav
e been investigated by pyrolysis-mass spectrometry/microwave spectrosc
opy (Py-MS/MW). The pyrolysis mechanisms of XCH(2)C(CH3)=NOH (X = H an
d CH3) were different from those of XCH(2)CH=NOH reported previously.
Although the observed pyrolysates were different for the different sub
