Abstract
The title compound, [Fe(C5H5)(C13H9O2)], crystallizes as chiral molecu les in space group P2(1)2(1)2(1); in the crystal chosen for structure analysis, the molecules have the S configuration. The molecules are li nked by weak C-H...O hydrogen bonds into chains parallel to the b axis and by C-H...pi(C=C) interactions into chains parallel to the a axis.
