Abstract
The title compound, [Pt(CH3)(C2H6OS)(C12H8N2)]PF6, is composed of squa re-planar Pt-II complex cations and PF6- anions. The crystal packing i s determined mainly by graphitic interactions between the phenanthroli ne rings, the mean planes of which are parallel and separated by 3.68 Angstrom.
