Abstract
The structure of the title compound, [Cu-4(S-5)(2)(C6H7N)(4)].2C(6)H(7 )N, consists of a neutral complex molecule [Cu-4(S-5)(2)(CH3C5H4N)(4)] and two 3-methylpyridine solvent molecules, In the neutral complex mo lecule, the four Cu atoms are in a distorted tetrahedral arrangement. The non-bonding Cu Cu distances in the copper tetrahedron range from 3 .281 (1) to 3.948 (1) Angstrom and the Cu--S bond lengths vary from 2. 255 (2) to 2.397 (3) Angstrom.
