Abstract
A new polymorph of the title compound, C8H16B10, is reported. The carb orane icosahedron is relatively undistorted, with the phenyl substitue nt twisted out of the C2-C1-C-ring plane by 18.3 (2)degrees, which is in good agreement with the conformation predicted by molecular-orbital calculations.
