Abstract
The absolute configuration of the title compound was confirmed by an X -ray crystal structure analysis of (R)-(+)-[(benzyloxymethyl)(tert-but yl)methylsilyl] methyl ketone 2,4,6-triisopropylphenylsulfonylhydrazon e, C30H48N2O3SSi, reported herein. The asymmetric unit of the hydrazon e contains two molecules which are linked by intermolecular hydrogen b onds.
