Abstract
The described bulk-modulus high-pressure transducer having a friction free active element can be used for pressure measurements up to 2.0 GP a with an estimated uncertainty better than 0.2% and 0.1 MPa sensitivi ty. An electronic length-measuring gauge of 0.1 mu m uncertainty has b een used as a detector of active-element deformation. (C) 1996 America n Institute of Physics.
