Abstract
We investigate the dual superconductivity hypothesis in pure SU(2) lat
tice gauge theory. We find evidence of the dual Meissner effect both i
n the maximally Abelian gauge and without gauge fixing. We also obtain
a rather good extimation of the string tension using the value of the
London penetration length.
