Abstract
This paper describes a device for measuring differential magnetic susc eptibility chi = partial derivative M/partial derivative H in a temper ature range of 4.2 to 350 degrees K under a low ac magnetic field of 0 .01-30 Oe oscillating at a frequency of 1-20 kHz. The sensitivity thre shold of the device can be reduced to 10(-9) CGSM unit (10(-10) A . m( 2)) in a ac field of 3 Oe.
