Abstract
The Ginzburg-Landau equations for a d-wave superconductor with nonmagn etic impurities are derived in the framework of the Gor'kov's weak-cou pling theory of superconductivity. The weak scattering in the Born lim it as well as the strong scattering in the unitary limit of the impuri ties are both considered in the calculation. The effect of impurities on the magnetic field penetration depth and the induced s-wave order p arameter are also studied.
